Yesterday was a good day! I didn’t speak spanish with anybody, I met some people of other countries and, just in case, twice I avoided spaniards for two times at the same museum. But no matter what you do, we are in everywhere!

I started my trip through the city in on the subway (the closest station to my apartment closest stop is coplay next to the Boston public Library, the building of the picture). I bought the CharlieCard (like T10 in Barcelona) and I took the green line until Park Street to start the Freedom Trail.

Before start starting my walk, I bought a phone card to speak with ring Spain cheaper and a “pay as you go” sim card from T&T. Now I have a new USA mobile number (and also a 15$ mobile … they don’t sell these kind of cards without a mobile) and everything are is easier

I started the Freedom Trail (alone) and I got a glimpse of some of the most famous and historical sites in Boston (museums, churches, meeting houses, burying grounds, parks, a ship, and historic markers), It’s an amazing trip following red bricks from Boston Common to the boston harbour I was walking walked a total of 2.5 miles!

When I was finishing my walk I entered at Quincy Market and I ate a pizza bagel, it wasn’t so bad but I prefer Italian pizzas. The first problem I have in Boston is that the meals are so fatty, I need to do more exercise here than in Spain

I was surprised because on Sunday all the shops are opened and I was shopping open and I can go shopping a lot Cool clothes of brands I never had never heard before!

Everybody in the street dress warmly warm clothes.  They wears wear globes, scarf and hat. Maybe tomorrow I’ll buy a pair of globes because de temperature here is under 0ºC. It’s freezing! But that thing isn’t an a stopper for the fashion girls of the States, they wear sunglasses… I don’t understand anything (estando aquí, no das crédito), I haven’t seen the sun yet.

I’m impressed about the amount of fire stairs there are in Boston… but the people of that building can be problems if they need to use those people can get into trouble if they use them

The truth is that while the responsable was coming, I have met around 10 students at headquarters At the time that the person in charge was coming, I have met around 10 students already, all of them are studying they all study in Boston, some in at the university (MIT, Boston University and Harvard University), some studying study english (it seems that in Boston there are a lot of english academies, although all the universities have english courses.

This because if a person wants to study here at the university or a post-degree you need to have the “International English Language Testing System”, IELTS -or something similar like TOFL- and this english certificate has to have be less than two years). The common denominator of all of them is that everybody speaks in spanish; even the responsable of guy responsible for the apartments is latin and have has spoken to me in Spanish!

So far have it has been impossible for me to practice my english, they speak me spanish everyone speaks spanish to me, no matter what I do. I thought that here was the best place to learn english!

Now, I’m at in my apartment, it’s so pretty as you can see in the pictures below. I was lucky and my studio was not in the headquarters of Beacon St., It was in is at 267 Newbury St instead. I guess so that I guess my neighbours will be older and with more interesest in the language. I also know that all ot them are studying english in the same place than as me, but I haven’t met them yet.

No recuerdo haber recibido ninguna respuesta coherente. Con el tiempo hubo alguien que me dió la respuesta: El elefante del circo no escapa porque ha estado atado a una estaca parecida desde que era muy, muy pequeño. En aquel momento, el elefante empujó y tiró tratando de soltarse. A pesar de todo su esfuerzo, no pudo.

La estaca, era ciertamente, muy fuerte para él. Al día siguiente volvió a intentar, y también el otro, y el siguiente… Hasta que un día, el animal aceptó su impotencia y se resignó a su destino”

Como dice el autor, “este elefante enorme y poderoso que vemos en el circo no escapa porque…. CREE, que no puede”. Él mismo detiene su iniciativa y no se permite avanzar. La moraleja tiene que ver con la perseverancia, tiene que ver con no abandonar nuestros propósitos, con perseguir nuestros objetivos, con volver a intentarlo una y otra vez sin tirar la toalla. Sin más, me encanta…

Using the program is pretty straightforward, even if at first there may be a learning curve. This is easily overcome with Caphyon Ltd.’s great online tutorial on getting starting with Advanced Web Ranking as well as supplementing it with an advanced tutorial for the power users out there. With Advanced Web Ranking, you have the power to tailor how you want your site to rank with some of the most well known (and lesser known) search engines used today. La primera funcionalidad es una gráfica que amplia la información de los anuncios que han modificado el precio en Trovit Casas y Trovit Coches. El usuario que está buscando un piso o un coche ahora tiene otra herramienta más para ver como está evolucionando el precio a lo largo del tiempo del anuncio que le interesa. Como bien comenta Albert Ribera en su blog, está gráfica se puede interpretar como la “prisa” que tiene el propietario en vender y por tanto es muy interesante para el usuario que busca.

La segunda funcionalidad nos permite ver anuncios similares a aquel que nos interesa teniendo en cuenta para seleccionarlos, campos importantes como el precio, el número de habitaciones y los metros cuadrados en un piso o el precio, la marca y el modelo en un coche. Aquí os dejo una captura:

Por supuesto, las dos funcionalidades están operativas en los 13 países en los que Trovit está presente.

El procedimiento para eliminar los anuncios de una fuente de tus resultados de búsqueda es muy sencillo. Sólo tienes que hacer clic en la cruz que hay justo al lado del nombre de la fuente en cada anuncio y se actualizará tu búsqueda sin esos anuncios (ver imágen). Este procedimiento lo puedes repetir tantas veces como desees.

Igual que puedes bloquear fuentes, puedes incluirlas de nuevo desde cualquier página y en cualquier momento. Sólo tienes que ir al final de un resultado de búsqueda en Trovit para ver el listado de fuentes bloqueadas y restaurar la que desees.

En el lateral izquierdo, en la zona de filtros (justo debajo del filtro de precio) hemos añadido un check box para ver solamente los inmuebles que han bajado su precio.

Tenia la intuición de que iban a ser muchas las modificaciones de precio en las viviendas anunciadas, pero ¡realmente he quedado impresionado!

• Funciones o tareas que no dominas especialmente y sabes que un colaborador puede realizar igual o mejor que tú
• Funciones que no te gustan (y por consiguiente, seguramente no haces todo lo bien que se podrían hacer) y además no es necesario realizar personalmente
• Te ocupan mucho tiempo. Lo que te impide hacer o pensar cosas quizá más importantes
• Un colaborador puede resolver más rentablemente que tú (incluso aunque lo haga peor). Aquí empieza a entrar en juego la formación de los colaboradores para que cada vez lo hagan mejor
• El simple hecho de que lo haga un colaborador puede suponer su formación y por tanto merece la pena traspasar

• Te convierten en cuello de botella o en imprescindible, porque eres el único que sabe hacerlas

Ale, ¡a delegar! (pero con cabeza…)

• La ambición es el combustible que impulsa los hechos que producen cambios definitivos en la vida
• Identifica qué te apasiona hacer y busca la forma de hacerlo más
• Son muchos los que sueñan en pequeño. Hay que recordar que nunca se logra más de lo que uno cree poder alcanzar. Por eso hay que soñar en grande
• Si nadie está dispuesto a pagar por lo que te gusta hacer, entonces tienes una afición, no una carrera
• Cuando la oportunidad golpea a la puerta, hay que aprovecharla

De todos, me quedo con el tercer punto. ¿Qué prefieres ser: cabeza de ratón o cola de león, el peor de los mejores o el mejor de los peores, el más grande entre los pequeños o el más pequeño entre los grandes? Yo siempre sueño con ser cabeza de león, por si acaso…
